LFTOFF Event for Anglers and Flyers in Wainfleet

Wainfleet, ON – Mark your calendars for an exciting event this August! From August 3 to August 4, 2024, Wainfleet will host the LFTOFF event, a unique gathering tailored for beginner and intermediate angles flyers at 11631 Burnaby Road. This event, organized by Skydive Burnaby, offers a perfect opportunity for those eager to learn and enhance their flying skills in a supportive environment.

Event Details

The LFTOFF event is specifically designed for flyers who are new to angles but have some flat-tracking experience, as well as those who have never flown on their back and are looking to learn a new orientation. The program will include:

• Discussion on Angle Theory: Participants will start with a discussion on angle theory, safety, and navigation, providing a solid foundation before taking to the skies.
• Jump Sessions: The event will feature 4-6 jumps each day, with briefings before and after each jump to focus on specifics for each participant.
• Small Group Sizes: To ensure personalized attention and safety, group sizes will be limited to 2:1 or 3:1, depending on skill level.

Requirements

Participants must hold a B Licence, have at least 150 jumps, and be comfortable flying in small groups. Tunnel time experience is considered a bonus but is not mandatory.

Registration
